I initially purchased this book because I was very interested in Chapter 9 "Hate, Humiliation, and Masculinity" as it relates to acts of mass random gun violence. This is a great book filled with information and insight on individualizing masculinity and femininity respectively, and discusses homosexuality as compromise formations.
